Step 1: Preliminary Planning
Our specialized consultation process begins with a virtual meeting via Zoom. We know that getting the right team for your remodel is of the utmost importance. That’s why we offer a no-commitment first meeting to see if our expertise aligns with your vision. You tell us exactly what you’re looking for, and we will decide together how to move forward.
After the initial meet and greet, you’ll consult with your lead designer and have photos taken. Thankfully, with the technology available to us today, everything from taking measurements to ordering samples can conveniently be done online. You’ll discuss your budget and the scope of your project with your project leader. Then, concepts and price range will be presented and authorized. From there, we’ll be ready to start looking at the details.
Step 2: The Details
In the second phase, you will collaborate closely with our design team to create the perfect remodeling blueprint. Our designers take all your needs and preferences into consideration and build a plan around them. That’s the beauty of a custom remodel; we find what makes your project unique and special.
During this stage, we finalize your design down to the finest points. You’ll do selection shopping with your designer, verifying materials and prices. Then, you’ll get visits from trade partners and estimators before your final construction proposal is presented and authorized.
Our design-build team works right alongside you, keeping you informed through every stage of the process; your timelines and budget always top-of-mind. We put in a lot of work before construction begins, so we don’t run into any unpleasant surprises. Ultimately, we want you to be delighted with the result!
Step 3: Construction Phase
The construction phase of your redesign will be the most involved for you and your family. Your home is undergoing a big change, but your lifestyle doesn’t have to. Our workers are respectful of your property and your family we are as passionate about your renovation as you are. We do our best to work around your schedule so that the construction has minimal impact on your day-to-day life.
During this phase, your construction schedule will be detailed, and a lead craftsman assigned to the project. Plans will be verified, materials ordered, and then the construction will begin in earnest.
Transparency and Communication
Good organization is vital to any home improvement project. That’s why we use Buildertrend, an online project management platform. Buildertrend provides our vendors, designers, and contractors with all the most up-to-date information about your home remodel, allowing them to collaborate virtually in real-time. We regularly update your file with photos, and you can even view virtual 3D renderings of what your renovation will look like before construction even starts!
All your information is conveniently and securely stored in one place, including all invoices, change orders, and schedules. Since it’s cloud-based, you can access it from your smartphone, computer, or tablet so you can follow the progress of your renovation from anywhere. Buildertrend helps us work better together.
